Abstract submissions are OPEN!

The Organising Committee invites the submission of abstracts for consideration as oral and poster presentations that align with the Congress theme of “A sustainable, clean future enabled by oxidation catalysis“.

The Congress program will be accepting submissions under the following abstract themes:

  • Bio oxidation catalysis
  • Bulk chemical processing
  • Catalyst characterisation
  • Catalyst preparation
  • Electrocatalysis
  • Energy technology
  • Environmental applications
  • Fine and intermediate chemicals
  • Green oxidants
  • Homogeneous catalysis
  • In situ techniques
  • Industrial catalysis
  • Nano oxidation catalysts
  • Photocatalysis
  • Process engineering and thermal management
  • Selective oxidation
  • Sustainable precursors
  • Theory and modelling

Materials Today Sustainability – Journal Partnership

World Congress on Oxidation Catalysis 2026 is pleased to announce a journal partnership with Materials Today Sustainability.

All accepted abstracts will be invited for a full paper submission in a dedicated special issue of Materials Today Sustainability. This collaboration further enhances the scientific impact of the Congress and highlights its strong connection to leading international research in oxidation catalysis and sustainable technologies.

  • Access the submission portal at https://arinex.eventsair.com/wcoc2026/abstract-portal.
  • Sign in or create an account: To begin your abstract submission, first create an account. If you already have an account, sign in to the portal using your account email address and password.
  • Update contact information: Once signed in, you will be asked to update your contact information. This step is REQUIRED before accessing the full abstract submission portal features.
  • Access and complete the abstract submission: After completing your Profile, you will be directed to the abstract submission portal.
  • Confirmation email: On successful submission of an abstract, you will receive a confirmation email.

After submission, authors will not be able to edit the abstract. Please ensure that the abstract is correct before submitting. During the submission process, the abstract can be saved for editing before final submission. If authors need to edit the abstract after submission and it is before the submission deadline, please email Congress Organisers at wcoc2026@arinexgroup.com.

  • All submissions must be in the English language.
  • All abstracts must be original work. An abstract should not be submitted if the work has been published previously.
  • All submissions must be completed using the Official Abstract Template.
  • Abstract word limit is 500 words.
  • Abstracts must be typed in Arial font, size 11pt and single line spacing.
  • Email address for all presenting authors must be provided within the abstract template.
  • Submissions should be submitted as a PDF with the naming convention: 2026_WCOC Abstract_Presenting Author last name.pdf
  • Authors may not submit the same abstract for different presentation formats.
  • Each listed presenting author will be required to register and pay to attend the Congress to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program.

Should you have any queries, please contact the Congress Organisers at wcoc2026@arinexgroup.com.

  • Each listed presenting author will be required to register and pay to attend the Congress to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program.
  • All submissions must be completed electronically via the online submission portal.
  • All abstracts must be prepared according to the guidelines provided. Submissions will only be accepted if submitted within the format and layout guidelines.
  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts that may be submitted by an individual. However, splitting of a body of work into multiple abstracts is discouraged and consolidation into one abstract is preferred.
  • Authors are required to acknowledge that by submitting an abstract, permission is automatically given for the abstract (if accepted) to be made available on the website and/or via the app, and possibly published more broadly.

If you encounter difficulties accessing the submission portal, such as firewall restrictions, consider trying the following solutions:

  • Access the portal on a desktop, as it is not optimised for small mobile devices.
  • Use a different browser; the portal works best with Google Chrome.
  • Connect to a different network, such as your personal internet connection. Organisation firewalls often block access, but switching to a non-workplace network typically resolves this issue.

Should the above suggestions not resolve your access issue, please contact the Congress Organisers at wcoc2026@arinexgroup.com.
